Tasting Notes: The Cartuxa Scala Coeli Touriga Nacional 2021 is a pure and elegant expression of Portugal’s flagship grape. The bouquet is highly aromatic, with intense notes of violet, rose petal, and wild berries, layered with hints of bergamot, spice, and subtle oak. On the palate, it is refined yet powerful, showing concentrated flavors of blackberry, blueberry, and ripe cherry supported by fine-grained tannins. Lively acidity brings freshness, while undertones of dark chocolate, graphite, and herbal nuances add depth. The finish is long, floral, and sophisticated, a polished Touriga Nacional with excellent aging potential.
