    Welcome to Portugal 6 mix has been put together for those wanting to dip their taste buds into Portugal and discover what it is that makes wines from this country so special! We have chose 2 whites and 3 reds from classic regions of Portugal.

    1) Javali White Port Reserva

    Old gold color, with coppery streaks. Aromas of fig, honey and dried fruit (walnut, almond), with notes of candied orange peel. In mouth remarkable acidic freshness with citrus and marmalade sensations. Minimum 7 years in French Oak

    2) Javali 5yrs Tawny Port - vivino 3.9

    Brown, typical of oxidative stress, characteristic of this category of wines. Nose is marked by notes of dried fruit and toasted (walnuts, hazelnuts), exotic wood and fruit in syrup. In the mouth, the structure is elegant and balanced, and to emphasize the freshness acid. Minimum 5 years in French Oak

    3) Javali 10 Years Old Tawny Port - vivino 4.1

    The Quinta do Javali reserve is true Douro red that is bursting with flavour. A wonderful gastronomic wine that has great complexity and depth. Deep red. Nose dominated by notes of ripe red fruit with some hints of strawberry jam and raspberry, combined with nuances of spice. So well integrated, there are notes of toasted barrels of high quality, giving a greedy character to wine, with aromas of vanilla and brioche. In the mouth, it confirms the fruity aromas in harmony with this structure but elegant. Aged for 18 months in French Oak.

    4) Javali 20 Years Old Tawny Port - vivino 4.2

    Well-defined golden tawny color. Nose characterized by the presence of dried fruits and figs jam, exotic woods and some orange wisps. Palate marked by long aging in small barrels in the natural conditions of the Douro Region. Stand so the roasted notes, properly balanced by dried fruit, honey and dried figs. The fresh acidity is a constant presence as a way to ensure the persistence of the wine taste.

    5) Javali 30 Years Old Tawny Port - vivino 4.3

    Golden amber tawny color with dark greenish hints. Nose characterized by very complex aromas of dried fruits, honey and a slight "vinagrinho", typical of prolonged aging process. Very striking mouth with flavors in harmony with the aromatic component and properly balanced with truthful acidity and a lingering finish.

    6) Javali Maria Luisa Vintage Port 2018

    Dark and deep color, with violet and intense areola. In the olfactory appreciation, there is a remarkable aromatic complexity, with fruity notes of black plum and blackberry. In the mouth, it is confirmed that we are facing a “huge” Vintage Javali, with a very solid structure, supported by opulent and ripe tannins. Black fruit and dark chocolate reappear in a long and striking finish
