Gourt de Mautens 2012
Intro: The 2012 vintage from Domaine Gourt de Mautens is a rich, biodynamic crafted Southern Rhône red (IGP Vaucluse) that blends multiple old vine Rhône varieties. It delivers deep fruit, fine structure, and excellent ageing potential, reflecting the domain’s marnes argilo calcaires soils and meticulous low yield vineyard management. Although labeled IGP Vaucluse instead of AOP Rasteau, the domaine is located in Rasteau and is known for its rare old vine Rhône varieties and structured, terroir driven vinification.

Rich and dense on the palate, with elegant tannins, a mineral backbone, and excellent complexity. The finish is long, muscular yet refined, built for 15–20 years of ageing
