Special bundle of our favorite Portuguese wines that match the profile of Pinot Noir. Have some fun, blind taste your friends or surprise them with a less known wine. Our wines come from flagship wineries of Portugal. Personally curated, a process that took our founders 11 months!
1) Javali – Clos Fonte do Santo Cherry 2020- vivino 4.0
Clos Fonte do Santo is a name given due to the purity of the natural spring present in the walled vineyard. This wine is light and great on a sunny afternoon, with delicate dishes such as sushi or even as a refreshing palate cleanser between bold full-bodied reds. Made from old vines and aged for 12 months in French Oak. Light ruby color, such as the color of the red cherry aromas of red fruits dominate with a balanced maturation, without being exaggerated. Evidence for the notes of red cherry, gooseberry and raspberry. In the mouth, it is admirable the acid freshness in a red wine of the Douro, which positively reflects the influence of the location of these vines on a cooler terrain. The fruity notes, which are allied to the vibrant minerality, provide a proof marked by lightness
2) Javali – Clos Fonte do Santo blue Capsule 2017 - vivino 4.0
The Clos line at Quinta do Javali demonstrates the purity, respect and uniqueness of the expression of the Fonte do Santo terroir, in Ervedosa do Douro, from the vineyard to the glass. The Blue cap is exposed to sunset which increases the polyphenolic richness of this wine. 1269 bottles produced. Made from 30+ varietals coming from old vines and aged for 12 months in French Oak. Dark ruby color with violaceous halo. The nose combines notes of black plums, ripe black cherries, blackberries and bark. In the mouth the the black fruit notes appear the wine also has a superior structure with a mineral nerve of the terroir of Fonte do Santo.
3) Real Compania Velha - Series Rufete 2017 - vivino 4.2
The Rufete grape reveals nobility for its ability to age and produces quite exotic reds. Very round, soft in tannins, medium-bodied but very elegant with aromas of red and black berries. The wines look light when compared to classic Douros, but in fact have a lot of personality, and hold on very well on the finish. The low temperature of service, unlike other reds, emphasises the fruit character of Rufete and makes it very pleasant to drink.
4) Javali – Crazy Javali 2021 - Vivino Rating Brand New Wine from our Favorite Boutique Winery
Antonio made the ‘Crazy’ project as an innovation to the current line up of wines. This is a red which light, young and easy to drink. Innovation from the Douro. Made from Old vines. The transparent glass of the bottle shows an attractive raspberry color at first glance. The nose of Crazy Tinto is dominated by red fruits, especially strawberries, raspberries and gooseberry. It becomes an excellent challenge to accompany the evolution of the aromas in the glass, because as a “living being”, the wine “dialogues” with us. In the mouth, the CRAZY character combines lightness and youth, guaranteeing a refreshing and uncompromised tasting (11º of alcohol!).

6) Javali - Clos Fonte do Santo Red Cap 2018 - vivino 4.0
The Clos line at Quinta do Javali demonstrates the purity, respect and uniqueness of the expression of the Fonte do Santo terroir, in Ervedosa do Douro, from the vineyard to the glass. Our wine community is loving this wine many calling it a juicy ‘Pinot Noir’ style wine a rare profile for Douro wines. Made from 30+ Varietals from old vines. Ruby colour, like cap coloration. Nose with strong fruity expression of ripe red fruits, such as strawberries, blackberries and red plums. The location of the vines that originate the Red Capsule is responsible for a slightly longer maturation, causing the sensorial perception of more matured red fruits, with some very balanced structure. The minerality conferred by the terroir of Fonte do Santo allows an elegant tasting.
