Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles 2015
Intro: The 2015 “Les Pucelles” from Domaine Leflaive is widely considered one of the landmark whites of Puligny Montrachet in that vintage. The vineyard “Les Pucelles” for Leflaive is comprised of 3 parcels (Le Clos du Meix, La Grande, La Petite) totalling 3.06 ha, with vines dating from 1954 through 1985. In the 2015 vintage, Leflaive began harvest later than usual due to the warm season (one of the earliest starts since WW2) and emphasised early picking to retain acidity and finesse.
