Intro: The 2013 Meursault from Coche Dury shows the hallmark precision of the domaine: a “straight down the line, flinty/burnt match nose. The palate is very flattering with great volume married with fine acidity, hints of peach and tangerine, lively and vivacious with a long and tender finish that just goes on and on.” The Coche Dury estate is widely regarded as one of the greatest producers of white Burgundy, with many considering their top wines among the most collectible Chardonnay in the world. Their vinification includes very meticulous methods: vineyards ploughed, pressing done carefully, minimal intervention, long lees contact and barrel ageing for considerable time.
