Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Ane 2017
Intro: The 2017 Sous le Dos d’Âne from Domaine Leflaive is a white Burgundy of vibrant energy and refined minerality. The vineyard “Sous le Dos d’Âne” sits just below the famed Premier Cru “Perrières Dessus” on the Blagny/Meursault border, planted in 1995 & 2004 on calcareous clay soils. The vinification for this cuvée follows a consistent pattern: long pneumatic pressing, 100% Chardonnay, aged in oak barrels with about 22-25 % new oak, followed by further maturation in tank.
