Tasting Notes: The 2010 Murganheira Velha Reserva Bruto is mature, expressive, and beautifully layered, reflecting long aging on the lees. The bouquet reveals aromas of baked apple, quince, and citrus peel, intertwined with notes of toasted brioche, hazelnut, and subtle honeyed tones. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with very fine bubbles and a creamy texture balanced by vibrant acidity. Flavors of lemon curd, dried orchard fruit, almond, and delicate spice unfold over a distinct mineral backbone. The finish is long, refined, and savory, a sophisticated aged sparkling wine showing depth, complexity, and exceptional evolution.
