Ornellaia 2016
Intro: The 2016 Ornellaia from Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is a landmark vintage from Bolgheri, Tuscany. Crafted from meticulously selected grapes and aged with precision, this wine combines power and elegance: “perfectly ripe and opulent; balanced by refined and solid tannins, invigorated by bright and juicy acidity.” The 2016 vintage was celebrated by the estate under the theme “La Tensione” (The Tension), reflecting the balance of opposite forces (richness + precision) in the wine. One limited edition release featured artwork by Shirin Neshat on the label.
