Le Difese 2021
Intro: Le Difese 2021 is the more approachable expression from the Tenuta San Guido estate in Tuscany. It offers the Super Tuscan pedigree of estate Cabernet Sauvignon paired with the Tuscan soul of Sangiovese, crafted to deliver elegance and usability in its earlier years. The name “Le Difese” (literally “the defenses”) refers to the golden boar’s tusks depicted on the label; a symbol of the wild Maremma region where the estate is located. Being the “entry” wine in the estate’s lineup, it gives access to the San Guido style at a more accessible level.

The palate is medium bodied with vibrant acidity, fresh red fruit, fine grained tannins, and a touch of oak spice and minerality. The finish is savoury and balanced, with lingering red fruit and spice
