Intro: The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru is described by critics as having a “beautifully defined bouquet with dark cherries, bergamot and wild hedgerow, very focused and classy. The palate is medium-bodied with a powdery texture.” Although the vintage was challenging, this cuvée preserves structure and finesse. The parcels for this wine are very small and specialized: a 50/50 blend of Craipillot and Perrières, totalling around 0.40 ha.
