Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes 2001
Intro: The 2001 vintage of Vieilles Vignes from Domaine de la Vieille Julienne is among the final releases of this cuvée and is highly regarded for its depth, elegance and cellaring potential. Drawn from 50‑100 year old vines on the northern slopes of the appellation, it combines intensely concentrated fruit with the clarity and minerality of a cool terroir. 2001 was the last vintage for the “Vieilles Vignes” cuvée from this domaine; after 2001, all production was consolidated under the standard Châteauneuf du Pape label.
