Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes 2018
Intro: The 2018 Les Charmes 1er Cru from Domaine Faiveley is a beautifully poised offering from the Chambolle Musigny hillside. The “Les Charmes” climat in Chambolle Musigny sits between the illustrious Grand Crus of Musigny and Les Bonnes Mares, making it one of the most prestigious Premier Crus of the village. For the 2018 vintage, Faiveley harvested early due to warm, early ripening conditions: harvest began 27 August in the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Nuits, and this vintage is described as “classic” and drinking well in its youth.

Medium to full bodied with fine, silky tannins, it offers a vibrant red berry core, balanced oak, and lively acidity that enhance its structure and length. The finish is long, refined, and persistent, combining finesse with depth and promising graceful evolution in bottle
