Intro: The 2017 Carlo Giacosa Montefico Barbaresco is a 100 percent Nebbiolo from the Montefico cru, a historic south east facing vineyard east of Barbaresco village. Garnet in color, it shows floral aromas with red cherry, rose, spice, liquorice, and a distinctive menthol freshness from wild mint, reflecting its calcareous clay soils and mature vines.
